All ages afternoon of music, talks and sounds at the wonderful Cafe OTO in Dalston, London.



ICHI, from Japan, takes the notion of a one-man-band to new limits by combining handmade instrument inventions with steel drums, ping-pong balls & tape loops.
DR JEN WILLS LAMACQ talk
Dr Jen Wills Lamacq is a Child & Educational Psychologist who specialises in parenting and the early years of childhood. She has a special interest in the role of music in early development and in the power of music to bring about connections, happiness, and community.
FIELD GLASS music
Field Glass is brothers Dan and Jacob Mayfield. They perform using glass, a Victorian harmonium, drum machines and analogue tape delays. Dan and Jacob also founded the School of Noise in 2015.
THE SOUND COLLECTOR film
The Sound Collector is very small, and very good at not being seen. He lives with his friend and pet, mole, in a tiny house on the banks of a river. He is fascinated by sounds, and spends his days collecting and using them.
OTHER
This event will also have instruments from the School of Noise for people to play on including a theremin.
