Fun Palaces is a free nationwide celebration of art and science. Inspired by the vision of Joan Littlewood and architect Cedric Price who conceived the Fun Palace as a ‘laboratory of fun’, Fun Palaces take place all over the country, creating welcoming spaces for people to have fun and learn together.
Join us for a day of activities exploring both arts and science. At artsdepot’s Fun Palace there will be arts, craft, science, technology, workshops, and lots more.
You’ll be able to:
Design, make, and launch your own air rocket, create your very own imaginary planet to display in artdepot’s magical galaxy, and explore the science of sound with School of noise. You can also take part in an artsdepot Creative Explorers session.
