Fun Palaces is a free nationwide celebration of art and science. Inspired by the vision of Joan Littlewood and architect Cedric Price who conceived the Fun Palace as a ‘laboratory of fun’, Fun Palaces take place all over the country, creating welcoming spaces for people to have fun and learn together.

Join us for a day of free activities for kids of all ages. There will be arts, craft, science, technology, workshops, and lots more fun for everyone in every corner of the building.

Activities will include:

  • A planetarium
  • Plant pot painting
  • Animal mask making
  • A seascape art piece that we’ll all contribute to
  • A sensory galaxy room
  • A Creative Explorers session
  • School of Noise
  • Ensonglopedia of Animals
  • Bookswap for kids and grown-ups (don’t forget to bring a book to swap!)
